Prince Philip defied his advancing years and recent health scare to keep up with youngsters at two Hackney youth centres on Tuesday evening (February 21).

Youth on Board or YOB Awards are an exclusively youth-led rolling award scheme that recognises innovative and exciting youth participation, both from young people and the projects and organisations that support them.
BYC’s membership of young oeople wanted to celebrate the benefits of involving young people and encourage more organisations to engage young people in their work.
You can nominate organisations, projects or young leaders for the following awards:
Innovation Award: Celebrate new ideas and practices that have made a real difference to how organisations work with young people.
Inspiring Project Award: Recognise efforts made by projects to engage young people and give them a voice.
The Make a Difference Award: Mark the achievements of an individual young persobn who has made a real difference through their role in the running of an organisation or project.
Youth-led Award: Recognise youth-led organisations that are providing a platform for young people and young voices and making a difference at a local, national or international level.

Young Million is a campaign to give unemployed 18-25 year olds in the UK the leadership development and skills needed to help you stand out to potential employers.
Common Purpose are running free leadership workshops throughout the UK to help young people build local networks, develop job skills, gain confidence and connect with others going through the same thing.

The Commonwealth Foundation is inviting filmmakers from across the Commonwealth to submit an idea for a short film about relationships. Individual filmmakers or collectives should submit a proposal which explores the theme of love in its broadest sense, whether inter-racial, inter-generational or within and between the sexes. The theme should be relevant to the filmmaker and their community.
We’re looking for original, bold and authentic films in any genre which entertain as well as stimulate and encourage debate both locally and globally.
The on-going global economic crisis has led many governments to be more cautious with their finances and to look for innovative ways to raise money through taxes and save money through balancing the demands of public spending.
